What I Am Noticing

I watched the film A Nice Indian Boy a week ago. As I wept my way through the entire 90 minutes, the memories of my Indian father, family and country poured out of me. It was a purging of a deep cellular grief that I couldn't access until I saw this film. The film itself was sweet but not particularly profound. Despite the film's superficial nature, my early family experiences were resonant with many of the vignettes presented. This experience did not give way to relief or realization, it was more my body's release of nostaglia that needed expression. 

Where We Are Headed Collectively

Last month's purge energy is giving way to August's reveal and expsosure frequencies. The collective will be having major questions around what is real; how much of our history has been altered? what parts of our economic system can be salvaged? where do we go from here? Many of these will be answered by the arc of nostaglia, i.e. attempts to reference what we have done in the past. As with my experience, the body holds this nostalgia and many times it needs expression or release. This doesn't mean anything is forgotten, it does mean that embracing personal/collective alignment that are outside of any previous reference points will be demanded. We literally cannot return to what was, so we are faced with what is. The body is a professional orienter to assist witht this transition.
