What I Am Noticing
Full transparency with yourself is hard. It requires you to stand by yourself even when you know you have messed up but even more challenging when you have succeeded. I decided about a decade ago that what I see in and around me is something that I need to express. This isn't a way of being, who I am or what my design is, instead it moves through me without my permission or approval. I have a deep sensitivity for the wounded places within humanity and I'm also not afraid to look at and speak to these parts of us. We all have places within us that need our voice to express them. Sometimes hearing how you actually experience yourself is shocking or new. It's not about liking every aspect of who we are, it is more a matter of allowing those parts to have a place that they can safely communicate. This self transparency is a power tool in creating space for curiosity within oneself and with others. And if you listen to the body, it will give you full disclosure.
Where We Are Headed Collectively
As the collective deciphers the speed of change, what can be integrated and is useful, the body becomes even more key. Although practices, movement, supplements, body therapies can be very helpful, there comes a point where the body is no longer seen as something to be fixed but respected for its guidance. Whether the goal is longevity, anti-aging, athletic prowess or general health and well-being, the body is shifting in the collective mindset from the belief that the body is a problematic or something that needs to be better to honoring the body as intelligence. The body is the home of the consciousness in this realm, the essence of who one is. When the essence is clean with itself, honest, available, supportive of all its parts even the ones we think are bad or wrong, the body responds in kind. Most importantly, the body needs occupation, claiming, full responsibility and pride of ownership. It's a vantage point that few tend to enter voluntarily but is now being required on frequency level.
